Multinationals

According to Mr T’s colleagues he drinks coffee like an Italian; this isn’t a compliment.

According to the shoe mender I speak Greek like an Australian; I’m not entirely sure that’s a compliment either.

We are mocked because we eat English dinner at 8.00pm when any self-respecting Greek might just be finishing his afternoon espresso.

  1. I remember that from Paros a couple of summers ago. But a 10 day holiday just isn’t long enough to completely change your body clock/eating habits to acccommodate stuffing your face at midnight ….

  2. I know – we eat late in July and August but the minute the cooler weather comes back we’re straight into normal dinner times.
